Fundamentals/Crossfit Lite

New to Crossfit? Try our Crossfit Lite class! Crossfit Lite is a judgment-free introduction class aimed at teaching the same principles of a Crossfit style class except there will be an emphasis on conditioning with scaled weights and/or body weight movements. Each class focuses on 2-3 specific Crossfit movements to ensure that new members perform exercises safely and effectively. Each class finishes with a Crossfit-style conditioning workout to build endurance and mental toughness. Some movements you can expect to learn are:

  • Clean and Jerk
  • Snatches
  • Deadlift
  • Back Squat
  • Strict Press and Push Press
  • Box Jumps
  • Wall Balls

Crossfit Lite is held three times a week for one hour – Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are interested in Crossfit, but have never done Crossfit before, you must complete 12 sessions of Crossfit Lite. Once you have completed these sessions,  you may enter into our regular Crossfit classes throughout the week. For Crossfit Lite, all you need to bring are tennis shoes, comfortable workout clothes, and a desire to better yourself and learn new skills!
